Ben Fry is a Ph.D. Candidate and University Distinguished Fellow in Behavioral Neuroscience at Michigan State University. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus in Neuroscience Summa Cum Laude from Bowling Green State University in May of 2017. In August of 2019 he was awarded the degree of Master of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University. Ben’s research is currently focused on the use of in-vivo optogenetic techniques to examine the role of dopamine in learning and neuropsychiatric Illness. In his free time, Ben enjoys hiking, competitive Magic: The Gathering, and training in mixed martial arts.
